Kostis Atsonios from CERTH delivered an oral presentation at the 4th International Conference on Energy, Environment, and Storage of Energy (ICEESEN-2024), held from September 5-7, 2024, in Cappadocia, Turkey. His presentation was titled: “Process Analysis of Flexible Gasification-Based Thermochemical Conversion Concepts of Biogenic Residues and Wastes into Biomethane and Biochar.”

The content of the presentation was focused on the description of the integrated FlexSNG concepts and their advancements in terms of products yield enhancement and energy performance, the methodology for the development of the respective process models, the main results from the process simulations and the comparison with conventional gasification based pathway.
